Steadfast is a private, judgment-free debt visibility app. Steadfast does not have a backend server and does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data to us or any third party.
You manually add the debts you want to track (name, balance, and optionally an interest rate and minimum payment). Steadfast never connects to your bank account, card, or any financial institution — there is no linking of any kind. Everything is entered by you, by hand, and Steadfast never calculates or recommends a payoff strategy.
All of the above is stored locally on your device only, using standard iOS local storage. It is never uploaded anywhere by this app.
Steadfast offers an optional Face ID / passcode lock, enabled in Settings. This uses Apple's on-device biometric/passcode system directly — Steadfast never receives, stores, or has access to your Face ID data or passcode. The lock only decides whether the app's own screen is shown; it involves no data leaving your device.
The optional weekly check-in reminder is scheduled locally on your device using Apple's notification system. No reminder data is sent to any server — the scheduling happens entirely on-device.
We do not collect names, emails, analytics, advertising identifiers, or any usage data. We have no account system and no server of our own that could receive your data.
